Welcome to the Cool(ish) Mom!
I am a follower of Yeshua, a wife, a homeschooling mom, a stepmom, a barista, a blogger, a poet, a joker, a smart-aleck, an animal lover, and so many more things that I've yet to categorize.
I love YHWH, my husband, my children, my dogs, coffee and wine.
I have four children, two boxers, a hamster, a single-family home, a fish tank, and psoriatic arthritis.
I want to get chickens so my family will be self-sustaining in the egg department.
I have a BS in Questionable Decisions from the School of Hard Knocks, minoring in single parenting and stepfamily slow-cooking. We have also now begun to delve into home renovations before we sell our house and move to places yet undecided.
My blog is here to give this hope to all the moms out there who put the fun in "funky": if I can do it, ANYONE can do it! The whole point is to touch on several areas that moms face every day, from kissing booboos to heightening your sex drive. If it seems chaotic and random at times, my readers will understand that life can be chaotic and random. My blog is simply following suit. I attempt to get on here as often as I can (except Sundays), but it does depend on how the day is going. Sometimes I will write for other people, stemming from questions asked or curiosities peaked. Sometimes I will write for myself, since it can be very therapeutic for me. Always, I will write for the Lord (see Colossians 3:23).
